🎯 Goal of the game:

The goal is to collect as many baby birds as possible by matching cards that show the same colour or pattern.

🔄 How to Play:

  • Starting the Game: The youngest player goes first. Players take turns in clockwise order.
  • Playing a Card: On your turn, you need to place one card from your hand in the centre pile. There are two types of matches you can make: 
    • Colour Match: Place a card that has the same colour as the top card in the centre pile.
    • Pattern Match: Place a card that has the same pattern (e.g., spots or stripes) as the top card in the centre pile.
  • Picking Up Cards: When a match is made, the player collects all cards in the centre pile and adds them to their collection (these are the baby birds!). After that, the player draws a new card from the deck to maintain a hand of 4 cards.
  • Special Cards: Some cards have special abilities:
    • Piou Piou Cards (Baby Bird Cards): If you place one of these cards, you immediately collect a baby bird from the centre pile, even if there isn’t a match.

🏆 Winning the Game:

The game continues until all the cards are drawn and played. The player with the most baby birds (cards collected in their pile) at the end of the game wins!

This game is fun and helps younger players with colour and pattern recognition while also introducing them to the basics of strategy and decision-making. Enjoy playing!
