Charity Partner - The Grand Appeal

For 2025 our chosen charity is again The Grand Appeal.  Last year we raised £1,890.82! 

The Grand Appeal is supporting Bristol Children's Hospital, striving to ensure the hospital has the latest in advanced medical equipment, giving every child the very best chance in life. 

The Grand Appeal has put top technology in the most talented hands. Like the UK’s first-ever children’s Cardiac Hybrid Theatre or an intraoperative 3T MRi Scanner – one of only three in children’s hospitals across Europe – and a ground-breaking neurorobot, which helps brain surgeons perform major operations with pinpoint precision.

Not only fundraising for medical equipment, The Grand Appeal supports families with accommodation.  Opened in 2020, Grand Appeal House is home to parents of critically ill children in both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Bristol Children’s Hospital. It gives families the space to sleep, eat and recharge.

How do we support The Grand Appeal?

• 100% of the proceeds of our "Wonky Stock" is donated
• Ex-demo toys and games are donated to be used in the play areas for children and their visitors
• End of line or surplus stock is donated to be used as craft activities for children, birthday and Christmas presents and leaving presents. 
• Many of our lovely brands donate arts and crafts supplies too.
